So I have this HUGE tree in my living room. The hubs brought it home from a neighbor who he was helping move and this is the only place it fits because of the tall ceilings!
I know you have a tree like this with an ugly basket too :)
I decided if I'm going to look at this everyday I walk through my living room it needs to be pretty......and yours can too!
Here is the 'ugly tree basket' up close........
And ready for it's makeover:
I primed then painted:
Once the paint was dry I stenciled on a large '5' that I cut using my Cricut, painted a base coat with 'Pebble' and then dabbed the 'Sky Blue' over that using a foam brush.
I finished it off with a strip of burlap that I hemmed on both sides to prevent any fraying, moss and a few strands of grass. And here is the finished 'pretty basket.'
Time for you to tackle the 'ugly baskets' in your home :)
Make it a beautiful day!

Hi Sarah! Yes, I did leave the tree in the basket......I had to lug the huge thing out to my garage! That was not easy but definitely worth it! I would love to link up....thanks! :)
